Located in Oshkosh, Nebraska, Garden County Schools, a Class III district includes two attendance sites. These are an elementary school in Oshkosh (K-6), a and a junior/senior high school (7-12). Garden County provides an abundance of recreational activities including premier hunting/fishing/camping, beautiful 18 hole golf course with country club and Lake McConaughy just 20 minutes away. Oshkosh is located three hours from Denver, CO and 1.5 hours from Cheyenne, WY. The community has a brand new swimming pool located in the city park, summer baseball/softball programs, town team sports' programs, Sportsman Club. Community groups include: Lions' & Eagles' chapters, Chamber of Commerce, TeamMates Mentoring Program, Regional West Garden County Hospital Foundation and Ministerial Association.
