Mission Statement
Winside Public Schools provides all students high levels of learning to be college and career ready in the 21st Century.


Winside Public School is a Class D school district, with an enrollment of 195 students PK-12, located in Winside, Nebraska. Winside Public School has the highest accreditation offered by the State of Nebraska and has been a member in good standing of the Nebraska Frameworks for Schools since its inception. The PK-12 school faculty consists of 26 teachers, one counselor, 16 classified staff, and two administrators. Winside Public School offers an exemplary program designed to meet the needs of all students. Remedial programs through college dual-credit programs are offered. Winside Public School has a focus on technology and works to provide opportunities for students to learn, experience, and utilize technology. Winside's focus on 21st century learning is aided through a 1to1 Chrome-book Initiative grades 7-12. Extracurricular activities include sports, fine arts & performing arts in the renowned Lewis & Clark Conference.

The Winside area has an abundance of recreational activities, located close to Skyview Lake, Maskenthine Lake, Willow Creek State Park, Ponca State Park and Gavins Point Dam. The community also has multiple organized groups including: Winside Booster Club, Fine Arts Boosters and a School Foundation coming soon. Also meeting locally, Community Winside P.R.I.D.E., women's groups: Trinity Lutheran ELCA, St. Pauls Missouri and Methodist. The community has a very strong Volunteer Fireman's Department, American Legion, Sons of the American Legion and Legion Auxiliary, 4-H Club the Blue Ribbon Winners and Boys and Girls Scouts.
