Mission Statement
Achieving success through innovation and excellence. Our children...our future...

Auburn Public Schools District is located in southeast Nebraska. Educators in the rural district strive to provide excellence in education for all PK-12 students. In 2015 -16, the district was recognized as 1 of 5 "Excellent" school districts in Nebraska. In 2018, the district was also honored as a top 5 school that has "Closed the Achievement Gap." Differentiated instruction allows teachers to meet the varied needs of students. A high ability learner program includes enrichment camps, HAL diploma program, advanced classes, & academic competitions. High school students may also enroll in Advanced Placement (AP), online, and/or dual credit classes. A school improvement process guides teachers and administrators in setting goals, assessing academic progress, and developing new instructional strategies to address students' needs. Currently, teacher staff development focuses on improving math instruction, engaging student in learning, and implementing a school-wide behavior plan.
