Mission Statement
The mission of Kimball Public Schools is to educate every student for a lifetime of success.

 
 

The Kimball Public School District is an Accredited school district located in Western Nebraska with a student population of approximately 400 students. The district contains two separate educational facilities. A PreK-6 building (Mary Lynch Elementary) and a 7-12  building (Kimball Jr/Sr High School). Kimball sits on the intersection of I-80 and Hwy 71 (Ports to Plains Trade Corrider) and borders both Wyoming and Colorado. Sidney NE is 40 miles, Scottsbluff NE is 49 miles, Cheyenne WY is 65 miles, Denver CO is 160 miles and Lincoln NE is 380 miles.

Kimball has the following recreational activities available: Four Winds Golf Course (18 holes), Oliver Lake & Recreational Area, Youth Baseball/Softball/Soccer/Basketball/Wrestling Groups, Adult Softball. There are many historical areas to explore. Kimball is also designated as the High Point of Nebraska.  The City has a fitness center, swimming pool and parks to enjoy.

The following are a few of the organized community groups: Kimball-Banner Chamber of Commerce, Farmer's Day Organization, Rotary Club, Extension & 4H Groups, Good Hand Theater Organization
